It’s important to get more information, explore your options and seek comprehensive pregnancy care. When it comes to the health of you and your baby, knowledge is power. Second opinions offer valuable information, especially in high-risk pregnancies. If you find yourself uncertain about your diagnosis, getting a second opinion can provide better explanations and help you gain more clarity on your treatment options. Additional screenings and/or tests might either confirm or re-diagnose your condition.

What Can You Expect During The Second Opinion Process?
A Maternal-Fetal Medicine second opinion process begins with a referral. If you desire a second opinion consultation with Dr. Rosenberg, there are a few ways to get started:
- Ask Your Doctor For a Referral: Your midwife, OB/GYN or MFM specialist can reach out to Rosenberg Maternal-Fetal Medicine to begin the process.
- Call our practice to schedule a consultation: Our patient coordinator can set up an appointment for you.
We require a complete set of records with any information pertaining to the pregnancy. Dr. Rosenberg may choose to perform further imaging or testing that may be needed to evaluate your diagnosis. From there, we will partner with you and your primary OB/GYN or midwife to weigh the best possible options for you.
